Aeropost, the US-based shipping partner for Mailpac Group, says that it has patched the data breach that affected less than five per cent of Mailpac’s customers. Mailpac said the breach was “short-lived”” and hardly affected the local Mailpac database. Customers impacted were asked to delete their credit card information stored in its system. At least one million data breaches of companies occur in the US alone each year
