Iranian hackers gained access to the control system at the Bowman Avenue Dam in 2013. The dam is some twenty miles from New York City. There are 31 dams with the name Bowman in the U.S. and they didn’t know which one had been infiltrated. Initially, officials thought the compromised infrastructure was a much larger 235 dam in Oregon. At this time the hack is classified and unconfirmed; at this time it’s still classified. The Bowman avenue dam is a tiny 20 foot concrete structure.”]
