Government Computer News featured several stories on IPv6 this week. The National Institute of Standards (NIST) hit a big milestone last week with the release of a mandated Internet Protocol version six (IPv6) specification for the federal government. The Office of Management & Budget (OMB) now want products and services that are built to the new specs. I know this transition is not even on the radar of many state and local governments, but look for this to become a hot issue.”]
