Canadian IoT device manufacturer Sierra Wireless reports it suffered a ransomware attack over the weekend. The Vancouver-based company notes the attack has disrupted its website and unspecified internal operations. The company did not report what type of ransomware is involved or if a ransom demand has been received. Molson Coors Beverage Co. reported in an 8-K SEC filing it had been struck by a cyber incident that caused system outages throughout the brewer’s manufacturing process. PC maker Acer was also reportedly hit with a cyber attack and demanding a $50 million ransom payment.”]
