iOS malware successfully infects non-jailbroken devices, researchers found

Malware ‘AceDeceiver’ exploits design flaws in Apples DRM mechanism. Apple has removed the malware from the App Store, but it may still spread thanks to novel attack vector. AceDeceiver only affects users in mainland China. Malware installs itself without any enterprise certificate, exploiting design flaws. It only affects non-jailbroken iOS devices regardless of whether they are jailbroken. It is the first time the FairPlay Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) has been used to spread pirated iOS apps, but this is first time weve seen it.”]
