IE Flaw Could Allow Hackers Access to your Facebook, Gmail, Twitter Accounts

A zero-day hole in Internet Explorer allows an attacker to steal session cookies from any website. A session cookie holds information like your username and password. Once those cookies are stolen, an attacker can access wherever the victim is logged in. The vulnerability was found in IE security zone mechanisms which are supposed to keep Internet zones from mixing. Microsoft says this issue is not one we consider high risk, but it’s not one of the most serious issues in the world. The attacker is only as limited as his imagination.”]
