Russia Bans Connection to OneWeb Global Internet Satellites

Global communications network OneWeb failed to convince Russian State Commission for Radio Frequencies (SCRF) to provide the radio frequencies needed by the company to work within the Russian Federation. The company’s Russian “adventure”” began in 2015 when it signed a contract with the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities to launch low-orbiting satellites worth over $1 billion.
