Mozilla Denies Report That Firefox Focus Collects Private User Data

German newspaper Deutschlandfunk says Mozilla is collecting user data from iOS devices running Firefox Klar, the German version of Firefox Focus, a new privacy-focused browser launched last year. Mozilla denies the accusations and says the report contains major factual errors. Mozilla has previously disclosed when and what data it collects from users. The only somewhat “personal”” details the browser collects is the user’s IP address at installation time. Mozilla says all data is sent and saved to Adjust’s backend
