Microsoft today published a support article detailing solutions on how to fix problems in Windows Desktop Search. Microsoft previously fixed a known issue where searching did not return any results and Cortana had high CPU usage or sudden CPU spikes. Microsoft also added a new known issue to the Windows Release Health Dashboard stating that “Some users report issues related to the Start menu and Windows desktop Search”” The issue impacts Windows 10
