Microsoft lets you pause or delay Windows 10 updates until they are bug-free. Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise editions also have advanced options to pause updates. Users can pause updates for up to 7 days and more than 35 days if they use Windows 10 Home with May 2019 Update. Microsoft’s monthly cumulative and security updates have caused problems with the Windows 10. For example, a patch shipped in late September that disabled Printing spooler service and an update shipped in the first week of October 2019 broke the Start menu.
