The World Health Organization has included burnout as an occupational phenomenon in its 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) A 2018 Gallup study of 7,500 full-time employees in the U.S. reported that 28 percent felt frequent or constant burnout at work. The Mayo Clinic even has a web page dedicated to spotting and dealing with burnout.
