Honda hacked – 283,000 car owners personal data Leaked!

Names, addresses and vehicle identification numbers were taken from the company’s e-commerce websites myHonda and myAcura. Honda Canada said it was alerted by unusual volume on the sites, including “unauthorized attempts to access account information” The letter warns of “possible improper access of information,” but said customers are not at risk for fraud and identity theft. Sony forecast a return to profit for this fiscal year after sinking into its third straight year of red ink, hammered by massive online security breaches.
