Homeland Security Discovers Vulnerabilities in Airport Body Scanners

A classified internal DHS report shows “vulnerabilities in the screening process” at domestic airports. The Inspector General report made eight separate recommendations on how to improve screening. The TSA agreed with all of the Inspector General’s recommendations. The report may give credence to a YouTube video allegedly showing a 27-year-old Florida man sneaking a metallic object through two different Transportation Security Administration body scanners at American airports. It’s not the first time the body scanners, produced by Rapiscan and L-3 Communications, have come under attack.”]
