A second large healthcare company has come forward to acknowledge that customer information sent to a third-party debt-collection firm likely was compromised. Medical diagnostics firm LabCorp notified the US Securities and Exchange Commission that the company had used the services of American Medical Collection Agency to collect past due medical bills from 7.7 million patients.
