A misconfigured ElasticSearch cluster exposed millions of resumes and company records, as well as customers and employees PII data. The cluster was owned by FMC Consulting, a Chinese headhunting company. Hundreds of thousands of customer records, internal emails, and employees daily tasks and calls were exposed to the Internet. The company has helped its clients placing more than 10,000 competitive positions by the end of 2018. The National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team / Coordination Center of China (CNCERT/CC) said it will take care of the incident.
