HBO Data Dumped, Hackers Demand Millions

Hackers behind recent HBO data breach have dumped a second collection of stolen files and demanded millions in ransom. The group released a video to HBO CEO Richard Plepler telling him to pay within three days or it will continue to upload sensitive information. Many documents released were labeled “confidential” and include job offer letters, presentations of future technology projects, and thousands of emails allegedly belonging to Plepler. HBO is its 17th victim and only three previous targets did not pay ransom, the hackers say in the video.”]
