Hannaford Data Breach Damages Up to Court

Hannaford Bros. customers may recover damages for the time it took them to straighten out their bank or credit card account after the Scarborough-based firm s computer system was breached in late 2007 and early 2008. The video-conferencing specialist has yet to roll out full encryption, but it says it’s working on it.
