Haiti interested in a Cyber Security Warning Centre

Haiti Libre published an article on May 22, 2018, about a Cybersecurity Warning Center. Here’s a quick summary for you.

The Latin American and Caribbean Internet Branch Registry (LACNIC) delegates who manage critical internet resources for the Latin America and Caribbean region met with the Director-General of the National Council of Telecommunication (CONATEL) to discuss cooperation areas.

The cooperation is to support activities and facilitate participation and funding of National Council executives in regional or international conferences. As part of the collaboration, the following topics were discussed in the meeting:

Both parties agreed the actions initiated will be mainly by CONATEL.
