Security researchers have identified a new piece of OS X malware that may come from Hacking Team. The malware is a “dropper,” which is used to plant other software onto a computer. It appears to be intended to install the company’s Remote Control System (RCS) The company suffered a devastating data breach in July 2015 that saw the release of 400GB of data, including source code and exploits.
