Hackers stole $19 Million from Bithumb cryptocurrency exchange

A new cyber heist made the headlines, the victim is Bithumb, the South Korea-based cryptocurrency exchange and hackers stole $19 Million. The South Korean exchange was hacked multiple times in the past two years. In June 2018, the exchange confirmed that hackers stole 35 billion won ($31.6 million) worth of cryptocurrency between June 19 and June 20. In July 2017 hackers have stolen more than $1 million in Bitcoin and Ether cryptocurrencies from the accounts of several users of the exchange. The exchange is working with major cryptocurrency exchanges and foundations in the attempt of recovering the stolen coins.”]
