Hackers Share Stolen MGM Resorts Guest Database with 10M+ Records

An archive with over 10 million records of guests at the MGM Resorts hotels is distributed for free on a hacking forum. The data comes from a security breach in July 2019 on one of MGM’s cloud services. Names, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses complete with postal codes. The database contains details of high-profile guests such as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, pop star Justin Bieber, and officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Security Administration.
