Hackers can remotely control, hijack a Segway MiniPro hoverboard

Attacker could bypass the Segway Ninebot MiniPros safety system remotely. Attacker needs just 20 seconds of Bluetooth connection to carry out an attack, researcher says. The vulnerabilities were disclosed to Ninebot in December. Users should keep the Ninebot app updated, but IOActive recommends that consumers avoid hoverboard models with Bluetooth and wireless capabilities. The attack could take place at the Black Hat security conference July 26 in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, California, in the U.S.”]
