Hackers Breach Stack Overflow Q&A Site, Some Users’ Data Exposed

Hackers exploited a bug in Stack Overflow’s development tier and gained unauthorized access to production version. Hackers executed privileged web requests, but were able to gain access to only a small portion of user data. The company says it is patching all known vulnerabilities and is addressing known vulnerabilities. The breach follows a massive data breach with hackers gaining access to 100 million users of Quora’s Quora site. The site is one of the largest question and answer sites for programmers and is popular among professional and enthusiast programmers.
