Hacked Mt. Gox Bitcoin Exchange Chief Maintains Innocence

Mark Karpeles, head of the Mt. Gox bitcoin exchange in Tokyo, Japan, has been charged with embezzlement. Prosecutors are seeking a 10-year prison sentence for the 33-year-old French national. He has denied all of the charges leveled against him, saying he is innocent. The trial concluded on Thursday, with the former CEO continuing to maintain his innocence, denying all charges.
