GreyEnergy Group Tied to Power Plant Attacks in Ukraine & Poland

A new group called GreyEnergy has targeted power plants in the Ukraine and Poland. The group has been linked to the NotPetya attack that left thousands of people in the dark last year. The malware is similar to the malware used in the BlackEnergy attack on Ukraine and other targets, according to an ESET report. It’s possible that the group is targeting targets in order to avoid detection by hiding its malware inside a network of computers and hiding it from the public. The same group is also believed to have used similar tools to attack targets in the past.”]
