Google will release Chrome 58.0.3029.96 in the coming days and weeks. As part of this update, Google plans to move some of its 32-bit users to Chrome’s 64-bit version. Google says the move will improve stability, performance, and security. The company also plans to add native notifications for Mac users starting with Chrome 59. Google started working on a headless Chromium mode last year, and it’s already supported on Mac and Linux, with a Windows version coming soon.
