Google white hat hacker found new bug class in Windows

Google Project Zero hacker James Forshaw has discovered a new class of flaws that reside in some of the kernel mode drivers in Windows. The flaws are caused by the lack of necessary checks when handling specific requests. Microsoft plans to implement the fixes in the future versions of Windows 10 and 19H1. Microsoft concludes that there exists some third-party drivers susceptible to the bug. The fixes are on track for release in Windows 10H1, with a few back for further testing/or testing.”]
