Google VirusTotal now with autoanalysis of OS X malware

In April 2015, Google re-defined Android malware as Potentially Harmful Applications. Android malware was re-classified as a category called PHAs. Google now accepts Android malware samples from its own online malware processing service, VirusTotal. OS X malware was added to VirusTotals capabilities in 2012. VirusTotal runs certain sample types in a controlled research environment often called a sandbox. The risk of malware infection on a OS X is very much lower than on a Windows or Linux computer.”]
