Google has announced that they are no longer developing Chrome 82 and will skip to Chrome 83 instead. Google has not officially announced when they will start releasing new versions of the browser. Google Chrome 81 (M81) will remain in the Beta until it is released on the Stable branch, Chrome 82 (M82) will be abandoned, and Chrome 83 (M83) will move to the development branch of the Chrome Chrome browser. It is assumed that Google Chrome 84 will be released over the next few weeks.
