Google has rejected 55% more Android applications in 2018 than it did in 2017. The company also increased the app suspension rate by approximately 66 percent year-over-year. Play Store was able to protect Android users from a wide range of new abuse trends, to identify and remove developers of malicious apps a lot faster and to stop more malicious applications from entering the official Android market than it ever did. Play Protect system which went live during July 2017 is “over 50 billion apps on users’ devices each day to make sure apps installed on devices aren’t behaving in harmful ways”””
