Network issues in eastern part of the U.S. are causing outages in Google Cloud and the Google Compute Engine and the services that rely on them. This is causing problems connecting and using G Suite, Gmail, YouTube, and even third-party services such as Snapchat and Discord. Google has stated the outage has been resolved with the following statement on their status pages: “We believe we have identified the root cause of the congestion and expect to return to normal service shortly”” Google Cloud Outage Map from DownDetector.com shows the Google Cloud outage map.”
