Google Launches Phishing Alert Service

Google has added phishing and malicious URLs to its Safe Browsing Alerts tool. The tool allows network administrators to receive notifications for malicious content found on their networks. By default, the alert notifications are sent out via email messages. For larger organizations with more URLs, Google is offering an XML notification feature. With the XML feed, organizations can process the notifications by a script, directly into any tools they may use internally. For example, organizations that host thousands of sites but don’t directly control what’s hosted on those sites, still have an interest in content being hosted there.
