French vulnerability research firm VUPEN Security stormed to an early lead in the annual Pwn2Own hacking contest. Chrome was the first time in three years that Chrome has been exploited in the contest. The contest is part of this week’s CanSecWest information security conference in Vancouver. Google has pulled out of the contest due to a change in contest rules. Google created Pwnium, which issues $1 million in prize money in exchange for full disclosure of bugs used in Chrome and other browsers.”]
