German Government Warns Against Using IE Browser

In response to the security hole in several versions of Internet Explorer (IE), the German Federal Office for Information (FIS) is recommending that Internet Explorer users should switch to an alternative browser until a patch for IE has been made available. 83 percent of the Top 30 U.S. retailers have vulnerabilities which pose an imminent cyber-threat, including Amazon, Costco, Kroger and Walmart. The widespread compromise affecting key government agencies is ongoing, according to the government.
