Georgia Patches Voter Website, But Hacking Accusation Stands

Georgia has fixed two elementary web vulnerabilities in its voter registration website, ProPublica reports. The vulnerabilities were allegedly been found in Georgia’s My Voter Page, which is an online service for handling voter registration. Georgia Democrats say they’d been notified of possible vulnerabilities on the website by a man named Richard Wright. Democrats called the accusation a “political stunt,” and the charge was met with widespread skepticism. A spokeswoman for Georgia’s secretary of state says the state still believes the site was subjected to an attempted cyberattack.”]
