Companies that join the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism agree to secure their supply chain in return for a “fast lane” at border crossing. So far, 3,800 companies have signed up to participate in C-TPAT. 20 companies have been approved; 1,400 have been certified; 20 more have been confirmed.
