Ubisoft says it is investigating media claims that the Egregor ransomware gang has published a 558 GB archive of the source code and resources of the video game Watch Dogs: Legion on file-sharing site networks. Ubisoft says that the gang may have released the code after failing to extort any money from the game’s developer. The game features a hacking group called DedSec, fighting against authority in a near-future version of London.
