Flash Targeted by Zero-Day Exploit

Adobe Flash Player 16.0.287 and earlier versions of Flash Player are reportedly under attack. The bug is being targeted by some versions of the Angler exploit kit. Adobe has labeled the flaw as “critical,” meaning it could be exploited by an attacker to run malware on a targeted machine. The flaw doesn’t appear to pose a risk to users of either Windows 8.1 or the Google Chrome browser. Security experts say the flaw can be mitigated by uninstalling – perhaps temporarily – the Flash plug-in.”]
