Four members of Five Eyes have issued a joint security advisory about ongoing attacks and extortion attempts targeting organizations using Accellion File Transfer Appliance (FTA) CISA also issued a Malware Analysis Report (MAR) today with info on the malicious Hyperprocessor (HM) webshells deployed on compromised servers to exfiltrate documents. The advisory provides indicators of compromise (IOCs) and mitigation measures for those who still use the vulnerable software. Five Eyes members advise FTA customers to implement the following mitigation measures to prevent attacks.
