Cybersecurity firm FireEye says it was hacked by a state-sponsored hacking group. Attackers stole Red Team assessment tools FireEye uses to test customers’ security. The FBI Cyber Division Cyber Division has issued a statement regarding the hack. The hackers targeted government customers’ information and were able to access some of the company’s internal systems. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and security partners like Microsoft are investigating the cyberattack with the help of the FBI. FireEye is one of several security firms that have been compromised in similar attacks.
