Sanjay Kumar was indicted in 2004 for a $2.2 billion accounting scandal. The former CA chief executive has pleaded not guilty to a number of criminal charges. The U.S. Attorneys Office says Kumar reformatted his laptop with the intent of erasing any data that could later be used as evidence against him. Kumar’s attorney, Jack Cooney, called the allegations “baseless” April 24 is the date set for a trial to hear the government’s case against Kumar.”]
