GSA issues two-year roadmap aimed at improving and enhancing the security vetting program known as FedRAMP. The initiative is also designed to be adapted as a result of the evolving cybersecurity landscape. The roadmap identifies nine objectives, such as enhancing consistency and quality of third-party assessments and re-using industry standards to assess and authorize cloud service providers. The goal is to get federal departments and agencies to collaborate more on establishing criteria to vet the security furnished by service providers, GSA says.”]
