Federal judge set to sentence Terry Childs today

Terry Childs faces up to five years in prison for blocking access to San Francisco’s FiberWAN network. Childs blocked access to the city’s fiberWAN by resetting administrative passwords to its switches and routers. The case has attracted considerable attention and debate because it highlighted the dangers of allowing a single individual to have complete control over an enterprise network. The former network administrator is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court on Monday.”]
