National Cyber Director Chris Inglis announced the creation of a new office for cybersecurity. Federal Chief Information Security Officer Chris DeRusha will concurrently serve as his deputy at the newly created office. The office will ultimately grow to some 75 to 80 staffers – with 25 being hired by the end of 2021. The new office will depend on collaboration with Congress and leaders such as Congress, he said Thursday. The White House is investing in leadership that will be dedicated to, and accountable for, our nation’s cybersecurity strategy.”]
