FCC’s Pending ISP Privacy Regulation in Jeopardy

Senate votes to quash FCC rule that would limit ISPs selling consumer data without permission. Rule would prevent ISPs from selling information on consumers’ internet browsing, application use, location and finances. The new regulation would not have applied to web companies, such as Google and Facebook.
