FBI, CISA Uncover Tactics Employed by Russian Intelligence Hackers

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation published a joint advisory on Monday. The advisory is part of an attempt to expose the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) adopted by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) in its attacks. SVR activity targets government networks, think tank and policy analysis organizations, and information technology companies. The actor is also being tracked under different monikers, including Advanced Persistent Threat 29, the Dukes, CozyBear, and Yttrium.
