The FBI and the US Department of Justice will announce charges against Behzad Mesri. He is accused of trying to extort $6 million from HBO and leaking Game of Thrones episodes. The hacker is still at large in Iran, where he is believed to be a member of the Black Hat Security group. The FBI says he stole over 1.5 TB of data from the network and demanded a $250,000 ransom from the company. He also leaked unaired episodes of HBO’s hit HBO series, including one from India, to the public.
