Riot Game’s Valorant ended closed beta today as they prepare for their official launch on June 2nd, 2020. A fake mobile version is being distributed that displays nothing but scams to those who install it. Android users will be prompted to download and install a ‘Valorant.apk’ as illustrated by Dr. Web below. The fake Android.FakeApp.176 trojan does not actually unlock the game’s mobile app because it does not exist. The only purpose of this fake app is to load the affiliate website to help malware developers.
