Jun Ying, the CIO of Equifax US Information Solutions, was sentenced to four months in a federal prison for insider trading. He was next in line to be Equifaxs global CIO and used confidential information to exercise all of his vested Equifax stock options. Ying received proceeds of over $950,000, and realized a gain of $480,000. He avoided a loss of more than $117,000 by selling the shares for nearly US $1 million, says the Department of Justice.”]
