EMEA ISG Index measures commercial outsourcing contracts with annual contract value (ACV) of $5 million or more. Cloud-based as-a-service spending soared 41 percent over last year, and 15 percent from Q1, to a record $2.9 billion. The combined market generated $6.3 billion of ACV, up 31 percent against a soft quarter last year during the onset of the pandemic, and up 4 percent against the first quarter of 2021. The UK and Ireland’s largest managed services market in the region, at $1.2 billion, was up 33 percent.
